Chavez's tenure in one demotivational poster

Want to see how the 21st Century Socialism looks like? Seek no more, Rosinés, a daughter of dear leader President Hugo Chávez is willing to tell us with one picture she amiably uploaded to Twitter.

By the way, if you are wondering how she managed to have allotted more U.S. Dollars than Venezuelan law allows, remember she is a very special comrade. As George Orwell said, all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others. Witness Marisabel Rodríguez, Rosinés’ mother that chastised indignant Venezuelans telling that “taking the pic wasn’t a mistake, but uploading it to a media full of ignorant people disrespecting others.”

Sarah Palin: somebody’s intelligence is being insulted — Not necessarily hers

...a very generous gesture of civility of a liberal fellow.
Well, it seems that Dr. sipmac’s playing with his brand new toy (memetics), so I will get into politics instead. Game Change was a 2010 book about the 2008 presidential campaign, with real juicy data about the Republican and Democratic hopefuls. sipmacrants! did review the epic and cataclysmic John Edwards saga, from dark horse to laughingstock. HBO bought the movie rights hoping that its upcoming movie would make a big splash in the Republican primaries. Apparently it was unnecessary, because Sarah Palin decided not to run for the presidency this time, but one has to wonder if she ever will have the chance.

The movie focused solely in the McCain – Palin environment, and the Alaskan Governor is portrayed as unbelievable dumb and ignorant. An early screening shows a devastating effect on its viewers; they couldn’t believe how John McCain, an experienced Senator could have picked this hick. What was he thinking? Was he sacrificing deliberately any chance to win the election? According to John Doyle,
Much of it is based [both the movie and the book] on an account of the McCain campaign by Steve Schmidt, a Republican Party campaign strategist, who is played by Woody Harrelson in the movie, with multiple eyewitness.
I normally would say “Pics or it didn’t happen”, but with such an assert, there’s no way of pretending this is a libel case. Game Change - the book has been attacked by means of not having visible sources, every account appearing being then unreliable. Well, the John Edwards part seemed very reliable to me, knowing that everything he said was a lie. Why HBO and the authors would be wrong on this?

Yet I know, the mainstream media’s pastime was trashing Sarah Palin every step of the way. The gubernatorial e-mail release showed no big revelations or insights but an insane media frenzy with penchant for lynching. Governor Palin was a competent and focused public servant.

Summarizing, I wish McCain would spill the beans for good and tell what he knows. Clinging to a Senate seat is pointless if he’s protecting with his silence someone undeserving of being considered with any kind of political future. Otherwise a lot of people would have to apologize big time. But with the current political climate, that would not happen anyway.

Game over.

I smell another big fat mclawsuit: Microsoft patents "Avoid Ghetto" GPS App

Well, score another one for the one percenters! Microsoft has just patented an app for the GPS systems, that (allegedly) based on crime and weather statistics, advises the driving patrons on how to avoid unpleasant neighborhoods, better known as ghettos, shantytowns and obamavilles.

Microsoft’s true genius apparently resides in patenting an app that it seems has been more or less used by the powerful since the beginning of time: it makes easier to avoid addressing the poverty and social justice issues.

It won’t be long until the ACLU files a class-action lawsuit on behalf of those that will be discriminated and segregated thru technology. After that, common sense will still be AWOL.

The oldest trick on the book: pretending there is no poverty by simply not looking at it.
