In another dull chapter of "Anti-Christian Bigots Gone Wild", Stanford University professor Mr. Enrique Chagoya, created a lithograph showing the son of God engaged in a sex act called, “The Misadventures of the Romantic Cannibals,” which passes for daring Art with capital A that speaks truth to power.
“It is visual profanity,” said art gallery owner Linda King, in an interview with the Loveland Reporter-Herald. “It disgraces the God of all creation.”It's even worse. It's stupid. It's a lame attempt to shock in the Lady Gaga Era. Besides, anyone with enough Bible literacy knows that God loves the sinner but not the stupid and the stupid behaviour.
When I read the art exhibit was taking place in Loveland, Colorado, I couldn't believe my eyes. Not because it was a miracle, but because it looked like the draft of a South Park episode. Maybe Parker and Stone will make some more controversy after the "200" and "201" episodes.
As a true believer in freedom of speech, I agree with Don Surber:
If this “artist” had any courage, he’d show Mohammed instead of Jesus. That’s cutting edge. That’s breaking new ground. That’s dangerous. That’s truly being willing to sacrifice for the sake of art.Or are you a chicken Mr. Chagoya?
